Prenatal Yoga

This class is open to moms-to-be or women who are hoping to conceive.


In this class, students can expect a 45 minute gentle yoga flow, which includes seated and standing postures, followed by 15 minutes of restorative yoga, using props for support, creating a well-rounded asana practice.


Expecting moms can also anticipate variations of yoga poses that serve to open up the body in preparation for labor. Students will have the opportunity to connect with others to form a supportive community to learn and grow through their yoga practice and motherhood.



About the instructor Sara Roane:

Sara believes in life and living through the lens of yoga. Simply put - she lives her Yoga, or at least the intention, everyday. Originally from Beverly, MA, she dabbled in yoga for several years before diving deeper in 2013. In 2016, she completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training with Roger and Albina Rippy and the team at YogaOne in Houston, TX (now YogaWorks). Continuing her studies in 2017, she completed an additional 200 hour teacher training through BFREEOLOGY, and mentorship with Shelby Autrey of BFREE Yoga in Austin, TX. Sara has workshopped with yoga educator Leslie Kaminoff, childbirth educator & prenatal yoga teacher Amy Bidrman, Ana Forrest, Yoginos Yoga for Youth founder Elizabeth Reese, and shoulder specialist Dr. Paul Roache, MD., RYT. Sara’s classes are inspired from her varied practice, exploration and trainings covering hatha, vinyasa, Iyengar, Forrest, yin, prenatal, and kids yoga. She finds the poses to be inspiring templates to move the body through and that everybody has its own, unique and safe alignment. As a breath-centered movement and meditation practice, her students are encouraged to explore their mind, body and spirit both on and off the mat. Sara believes yoga is a vehicle for connection, evolution and true transformation. With this in mind, she compassionately guides her students through safe and intentional yoga practice set to fun, and inspiring playlists.  “I believe each pose is a template to move through, to feel through and to observe your mind, body & spirit through.
